Go to Doctors or straight to A&E?

i have been living abroad for the last year and have had a m/c accident which has left me with a broken left leg and a paralysed right leg...i was hoping the left was going to heal up which would enable me to walk with crutches but was told by the doctor today that after 4 months the tibia isnt healing and i would need another operation to realign the broken bone and replate and screw it as its wasnt done propely originally......i have no option but to return to uk as i have no more medical insurance and should manage to get back to uk unaided as i have no other choice........so the question is should i go to a doctors surgery or straight to A&E to get sorted quickest?.......i also have nowhere to stay once back in the uk so how will i go about getting some help..........thanks
