Sounds like you may definitely should be checked for diabetes. All the mountain dew and sugary stuff doesn't help either. Since your dad has diabetes does he have a meter he uses to check his blood? Yes, go to your parents and tell them whats going on, perhaps your dad could check your blood sugar level with his meter. I would say your trying to spare your parents unnecessary expense, but I certainly think they would want to know if your having health problems, they love you, their your parents!
