Can someone help this be scaryer ???!!!?

I'm writing a story and right now the setting is a forest. Snow had only started falling a night or so ago but already the chilly wind was nipping at my expossed neck. Just like a flash of lightening or the strike of a cobra father was their a moment and gone the next. Something brushes past my leg, scream, jump, run away- my instics. Paralyzed with fear. Steam rising from a black lump on the white ground not 20 feet away. My breathing heavy fills the silence, then all goes quite for a moment steam stopped rising. A head shoots up from the black lump. My feet can't carry me fast enough, I turn for a second look, WHAM, thump, blackness...... Is there anyway I can make it better please comment :)

I'm 5 ft 4 in, brown hair, brown eyed, caucasion, and 17 year old junior in hs. I'm a nerd who has average grades due to lack of motivation to do homework when it is extensive and impeding on my life outside of school. I get disrespected a lot by most peers due to my size even though I'm one of the oldest in the class. But on the lighet side, like I mentioned I am very smart, and original. I can play guitar, bass guitar, piano, ocarina, and I am one of the better talented singers in my school. I'm fair to people when comes to resolving problems.

What does my horror movie based dream mean?

It sounds to me like just a weird dream, don't worry about it, seriously. Your mind tends to wander when you sleep. So basically don't read too much into it :) I have odd dreams all the time, they don't mean anything, most of them are not metaphorical, You have several dreams a night but you only remember a few and you could have had a dream that shows the complete opposite just you didn't remember it

Would being 19 years old mean I would be considered a "mature" student in terms of univeristy entry?

And would this impede my chances of getting into a university? Especially since I'm Australian, and I would like to apply to a U.K. univeristy; but only after taking a year off after high school to chill out.

WHOSE FAULT IS THIS ACCIDENT?

My boyfriend was involved in a car accident two years ago and is now being blamed. The accident occured when he was turning left when he was hit on the passengers end of his car by a motorcyclist. I know the law is usually the person turning left is at fault, but he had his blinker on, and looked but he said he did not see anyone. The police actually closed the road and rereated the scene. They found that the motorcycle must have been going somewhere between 70 and 90 mph!! on a 35mph road. From the view at the left turn it would have been nearly impossible to see anyone coming on at those speeds. The biker was also known to be reckless and do wheelies down the street. He is now paralyzed from the chest down. Can my boyfriend be blamed?

Do kids personalities change over time? My son is suddenly shy at age 3?

Yes, my daughter has definitely gone through tons of different personalities changes/phases. She's usually a very out going, loud, out-spoken little girl - but sometimes for a little while she'll go through a different phase. Right around her third birthday she went through an extremely clingy phases. She used to walk right up to people and act as though she knew you for years, but then she got very shy and would only want to hang by my side the whole time. She eventually grew out of it. She'll be four in August and is no longer in that shy phase. ;)
