If God knows everything, and he knew we would come out "imperfect", why bother creating us in the first place?

Did he just want something to complain about? Some people will say "well, he gave us free will". Even though we have "free will", we still have limitations. We can't fly. We can't shot laser beams from our eyes. We can't regrow limbs. We cannot bend spoons with our minds. Etc. The point is, there are a lot of things we cannot do. Why not create us with certain limitations that will impede us from going against his "will" and still granting us "free will"? He is God, isn't he? He can do anything, can't he? Why not do that?
